This is an online course
Principles of Project Planning Course (online)
An online course that teaches Project Planning from grassroots level to advanced in 8 Modules . Video sessions, alternated with individual reading, quiz's and assignments, cover all the bases from the "Fundamentals" course, but going deeper into each topic and it's application.

This course has been designed by Project Planning professionals with decades of experience in the field both applying Project Planning on multi billion rand projects and appointing and managing Project Planners.

Witnessing many gaps in the skill of Project Planners working both under them and alongside them, the training was specifically designed to address these gaps and to develop skill based on international Project Planning concepts.

Before the training was formalised, it was successfully applied in informal, mentor-based formats, which resulted in well rounded Project Planners that now service the industry faithfully.

This course is now online. Enroll on the "Upcoming Courses" section on this page, or email us on to enroll.

This course has not yet been accredited, the reason being that there are no standards in the South African Qualifications framework for Project Planning. We strive to provide standards by way of training. We also strive to create standards in the South African Qualifications framework, to prevent watered down training from being accepted as qualification for Project Planners. This, however, is a much longer process than normal course accreditation, involving several steps and processes. As soon as these processes are completed, we will update with the applicable accreditation.

Our greatest accreditation, however, will always be the results, i.e. the successful graduates who carry the flag in the field with solid Project Planning skill and high standards. See the "Profactaplanners" page with our growing accolades in this regard.

Course dates

Course dates are scheduled online and courses run in batches. Therefore, you must start at specific course times. This is to ensure you have a community of students who go through this process with you, which helps increase your learning opportunities. It also helps us to keep track of our students and their progress, so we can support our students and ensure success and quality.

In-house training

In-house training can also be provided to companies. In such cases we will come to your premises one day a week for 17 weeks to provide the contact training. The practical application will take place the remaining 4 days of each week on current work activities and submitted to us electronically.

Additionally a "Boss' report" will be sent at the end of the course to provide feedback to the company on candidates involvement and progress.

The benefit of doing in company training, is that companies will immediately benefit from the skills attained, as they will be practically applied at work. Get a customised quotation for your in-house training.

Boss' Report

We believe that training your employees is an investment. We also believe investments should be monitored. Therefore we will provide both companies sending employees to our training, and companies who opt for in-house training, with a "Boss' Report" for each candidate attending. This report will provide feedback on candidates' punctuality, involvement and understanding of the content throughout the course.
